I made this for a NZ cardswap.
The topic was a recessed card.
I chose the hibiscus colours and the blue because they represent pacifica  - the flowers and the sea.

Little Fishes

This is a die I have had for a while now but not used. It includes the net, which I used as a stencil.  The fish are cut from metallic silver card.

This design had a wee accident in the making but ended up making a more interesting card.  I cut the background narrower than it was supposed to be, so added the scored lines to the base card and let the cat sprawl out over it.  I was going to raise the cat on 3D foam but decided to make it flat for easier posting.

Heart Box

Here is a chocolate heart box I made for friends staying with us on valentines night.  It is tiny, about 50mm high,  just right for on the pillow.

Seriously

I love nothing more than getting inky, so here we go with the image inked and the background inked, spritzed, sprayed and splattered!  For the glasses I used an embossing pen and black EP .

Sometime I want to send an appreciation or 'no reason' card, either to let someone know I'm thinking about them, to encourage them, or to recognise an achievement.
